Working Towards a Brighter Future
Literacy instruction incorporating livelihood skills,Livelihood skills training incorporating literacy instruction. In other words, one of these strategies is to use literacy programmes to help learners to make their livelihood skills more productive. The other strategy is to make use of vocational training programmes - agricultural extension, micro enterprises - by incorporating relevant aspects of reading, writing and mathematics. In today's world, opportunity comes to those who grab it. But what about those who have no means to grab such opportunities? Should they just let it pass by? There are thousands of orphans and underprivileged children as well as adults who lack such means and are completely unaware of the changing technology of the world. They lack the skills required to earn a living and hence are poverty-ridden. Our purpose here, at (name of the NGO) is to provide the necessary vocational skills and training required to grab those opportunities. The main aim is to provide basic computer skills, such as are necessary to get placements in accordance with there capabilities. It aims to bring about a positive change not only in their lives but in the society as a whole. And to improve the quality of life of the orphans and vulnerable children along with providing adequate education to these children to make them good citizens and have a better future through computer vocational training.
